Proven Insights for L&D Pros on Setting Yourself Up for Success in 2023

There’s a famous story in Panchtantra (the Indian equivalent of Aesop’s Fables) that cautions us against building castles in the air. A lazy farmer dreams of how he will behave when he gets rich and ends up destroying his only source of income.

This rings true for us L&D practitioners – as we embark on our journey in the new year. L&D is now becoming a decision-maker in organizations and being called upon to partner on strategic issues.

And, L&D has to rise to this challenge. This calls for professional development and the enhancement of hard and soft skills. Master new skills, decode employees of different generations, ensure training is holistic, demonstrate the value of learning, support enterprise-wide initiatives, invest in the right tools, build a learning culture, and more.

Designing and delivering learning experiences is just the tip of the iceberg. Building your brand is as important as championing the use of training tech, and speaking the language of the business.
